Ecstatic Mysticism Program
Half of the Ecstatic Mysticism program is dedicated to online immersions that weave academic depth with lived experience, revealing insights and pathways to healing and transformation.
The other half of the program is devoted to in-depth experiential work through in-person retreats and pilgrimages. These sacred intensives invite students into embodied inner work, therapeutic group processing, and direct learning from the diverse traditions, rituals, and cosmovisions of indigenous communities around the world, including:
The A’i people within an A’i-Cofan reservation in the Ecuadorian Amazon
A Massango/Babongo village in Gabon, Africa
The Wixaritari (Huichol) at Wirikuta, the ancestral peyote pilgrimage site in Mexico
The Yawanawa and Huni Kuin within their sacred territories in Brazil
Through these immersive encounters, students not only study mystical and therapeutic traditions but also live them in practice, deepening their connection to self, community, and the living Earth.
About the Program
This program is for seekers and leaders from diverse walks of life who express a heart-led calling for personal transformation and a deep desire for meaningful service. Students from a wide range of professional and academic backgrounds are eligible, as well as those with unique orientations to engaging with psychedelics, psychotherapies, and spiritual practices.
The course is also available as an online-only course for people who are not able to attend in-person retreats and pilgrimages.

During this program, you will:
Discover the shamanistic traditions of the Wixaritari, A’i, Mitsogo, Babongo, Yawanawa and Huni Kuin communities.
Learn and experience traditions, rituals, and cosmovisions with indigenous communities.
Become grounded in the lineages of Humanistic, Gestalt and Transpersonal psychology.
Gain inspiration from the traditions of Taoism, Advaita Vedanta, and Radical Dzogchen Buddhism.

Whether enrolled in the full program or the online-only option, students pursuing a graduate degree with Ubiquity University will need to take three pathways in total.
Those interested in a Masters of Arts (MA) in Integrative Psychedelic Therapy and/or a PhD in Psychedelic Studies must take the combination of Psychedelic Medicine, Indigenous Wisdom & Modern Entheogenic Practices and Integrative Psychotherapy as their three core pathways.
Any other combination of three-pathways will also allow students to pursue a Masters, PhD or DMin in Ecstatic Mysticism.

AWE’s serious and profound hybrid residential-online three-year curriculum has an hour intensity of 1.400 hours plus dissertation (for those in the MA or PhD pathways). They emphasise and specialise in therapeutic models of transpersonal psychotherapy, knowledge and healing interventions from core shamanic lineages, and insights from modern psychedelic medicine research.

The Ubiquity Graduate Degree
The Ubiquity Graduate Program combines the US and European designs of graduate programs with a blend of taught learning with research and writing. The thesis or dissertation must demonstrate excellence at every level. It must show awareness of the history of the literature in your particular area; demonstrate careful analysis and understanding of the field in question; and, most importantly, show how your insight can be applied to the real world. The dissertation must be scholarly and utilize extensive bibliographical data and footnotes. It should, in other words, be an impeccable work of research.
About Our Required Courses
This 1-week intensive designed by our Dean of Graduate Studies Dr. Gyorgyi Szabo. The course is a critical part of the dissertation writing process and is a requirement for all MA/PhD candidates.
