UFOs and the National Security State
This course will cover the two volume book Dolan has written on UFOs and the National Security State which details year by year beginning in 1945 the number of UFOs sighted, the evidence gathered, the cover ups engaged in by the US and other governments, the people marginalized and persecuted for insisting on the reality of UFOs, and the inexorable momentum toward UFO Disclosure.
Richard Dolan is the world’s leading UFO researcher and historian. He has written four groundbreaking books: the two volume UFOs and the National Security State, A.D: After Disclosure, and Alien Agendas, among numerous articles, blogs and podcasts.
This is part one of a 2 course series by Richard Dolan within the ET Studies Coursework. The second course by Dolan is Alien Agendas/ After Disclosure directly following this first.
Lectures:
Week 1:
UFOs and Flying Saucers: The Early Years, 1941-1973
In this lecture, Richard Dolan reviews the dramatic story contained in his first book, UFOs and the National Security State, Chronology of a Coverup, 1941-1973. He reviews the shocking story of the beginnings of humanity’s conscious awareness of the UFO phenomenon. The origins of the coverup, the incredible encounters, and the beginnings of what would later be called the Disclosure movement.
Week 2:
Exposing the UFO Coverup, 1973-1991
Richard continues his journey through UFO history by recounting the events discussed in his second volume of UFOs and the National Security State. The richness and international nature of the UFO phenomenon is discussed, the politics are analyzed, and the many controversies revealed.
Week3:
Breaking Down the Walls, 1992-2015
Richard discusses the still largely misunderstood history of the post-Cold War era, particularly regarding the UFO subject. Here he recounts the major developments of ufology, the major sightings, and the dramatic evolution of a genuine Disclosure movement.
Week 4:
The Age of “Disclosure”, 2016-Present
Finally, historian Richard Dolan covers the history of ufology during the past eight years, a time in which the issue has been able to penetrate the ages-old media blackout and culture of ridicule. How and why did this happen? How far can it actually go? Is the decline of the U.S. global empire somehow a part of this process? Will humanity actually achieve a full and transparent UFO/UAP “Disclosure”? And who are these “aliens” anyway?
About Richard Dolan:
For over twenty years, Richard Dolan has been one of the best known UFO researchers in the world. He is the author of several groundbreaking books in the field, opening up fresh ways of understanding this perplexing subject.
His massive two-volume history, UFOs and the National Security State, has permanently altered our understanding of the history of UFOs and the government coverup. He is co-author of the classic book, “A.D. After Disclosure,” which opened up an entire conversation on how UFO Disclosure could actually take place and what that might mean for the world. His book “UFOs for the 21st Century Mind” remains the best single volume to discuss the full range of the UFO subject in all its complexity. His most recent book, “The Alien Agendas,” is another unique contribution to the subject, being one of the few attempts to analyze the beings behind the UFO phenomenon by examining the long history of our encounters with them.
Aside from being one of ufology’s most engaging writers, Richard has been in front of the camera and microphone for many years, and has spoken to audiences around the world.
