Theories and Methods of Integral Transpersonal Psychology

If you would like to take this course as part of the ITI Certificates towards a Ubiquity degree, please take the course through the ITI platform.

Course Description:

This course, with its twin class “Integral Transpersonal Psychology – Foundations” which represents the first step, are capstone courses of the Bachelor in Integral Transpersonal Psychology. These two classes will offer the basis to build up during the curriculum of studies a strong and complete knowledge toward a psychology of the future, both Integral and Transpersonal. This course is designed for young people in the spirit of feeling and knowing that they come from far away and have a present and a future as protagonists, innovators, and creatives. They can be vanguards of a new culture of sharing that can transcend and include the dualisms, as well as the differences and conflicts of the larger system that includes them. The separation between theory and practice, between mind and body, between action and feeling, between male and female, between past and future, between matter and consciousness, traditional and scientific, academic and experiential is overcome in a transformative teaching methodology, a further mode that teaches how to make the two one. This course will follow Ubiquity-style teaching methodology: along with reading texts, there will also be learning technologies for the mastery of inner experience, the management of emotions and their states of consciousness, enhancing interpersonal relationships, and practical application projects in real life.

SPECIAL NOTE: There are videos included in this course and it is constructed in a way that an independent learner can navigate it and understand the teachings within. However, if you are in need of faculty-led sessions, we will record those and insert them the next time this course is scheduled to run in Live Virtual Classroom.

Our shopping cart is simple and easy to understand. If you do not have a user account, you will be able to create one upon purchase. Save your username and password as you will need it to login to access course materials later. For more detailed, step-by-step instructions you can review our tutorial How to Purchase a Course. Again, if you experience any issues, please email Veronica Saldias at registrar@ubiquityuniversity.org.

We allow students at all academic levels to participate in our online courses. You will be graded commensurate with your degree level. Except for the Final Creative Assignment, word counts are offered as guidelines. If you need to exceed the word counts to submit an MA or PhD level response, you may feel free to do so as long as the word count expansion is reasonable and necessary.
