The Turning of the Ages Mystery School (TOTAMS)
Astrologer Degree Program
A program that offers a transformational approach to astrology rooted in archetypal wisdom, cosmology, and direct relationship with the living universe.
Program Overview
TOTAMS stands on the 41-year foundation of the Harbingers of the Turning of the Ages and the Shamanic Astrology Mystery School.
The Turning of the Ages Mystery School (TOTAMS) Astrologer Program offers a transformational approach to astrology rooted in archetypal wisdom, cosmology, and direct relationship with the living universe. Rather than focusing solely on prediction, the TOTAMS paradigm invites students into a deeper exploration of personal growth, life purpose, relationship dynamics, and the larger cycles of Earth and sky.
Through experiential learning, observational astronomy, and astrological study, students develop both practical skills and intuitive insight that can be applied in counseling, coaching, healing arts, spiritual guidance, and personal transformation. The program encourages students to reconnect with the wisdom of the cosmos while cultivating a grounded understanding of their own unique path and gifts.
Offered online and in person, the core certification program consists of five sequential courses that together provide a comprehensive foundation in the TOTAMS astrological methodology. Students learn to work with natal charts, planetary cycles, relationship dynamics, and celestial observation while developing a meaningful relationship with the rhythms of nature and the night sky. No previous astrological experience is required.
This program provides a platform from which students can develop their own unique contribution to the world in the form of a thesis or dissertation.

About the Turning of the Ages Mystery School
The Turning of the Ages Mystery School (TOTAMS) is dedicated to supporting the evolution of human consciousness through astrology, cosmology, ceremony, and spiritual inquiry grounded in direct experience of the natural world and the night sky.
The term “Turning of the Ages” was coined by founder Daniel Giamario in the 1980s, describing a great precessional cycle of the Earth in relation to the stars—an astronomical and symbolic marker of long-range cultural transformation. Within this framework, humanity is understood to be moving through a profound transitional era, inviting both remembrance of ancient wisdom and the emergence of new ways of being.
TOTAMS offers teachings and practices designed to help individuals orient to these larger cycles, develop direct relationship with celestial patterns, and apply this awareness to personal and collective life. Its approach emphasizes experiential learning, mythic awareness, and a non-deterministic form of astrology rooted in observation and meaning rather than prediction.
A core aspect of the school’s vision is the cultivation of “seed people”—individuals who carry forward both ancestral wisdom and contemporary awareness, and who are committed to participating consciously in the emergence of a more integrated and life- affirming world. This includes what C.G. Jung described as “dreaming the dream onward.”
TOTAMS also engages in educational collaborations and cross-disciplinary learning environments, supporting the broader integration of cosmological, psychological, and ecological understanding.

The Ubiquity Graduate Degree
The Ubiquity Graduate Program combines the US and European designs of graduate programs with a blend of taught learning with research and writing. The thesis or dissertation must demonstrate excellence at every level. It must show awareness of the history of the literature in your particular area; demonstrate careful analysis and understanding of the field in question; and, most importantly, show how your insight can be applied to the real world. The dissertation must be scholarly and utilize extensive bibliographical data and footnotes. It should, in other words, be an impeccable work of research.
