Writing Task:

450 to 500 Words

This week your team should do some background research. This could include:

1. The cultural context and key social factors connected with your key issue.
2. Who is currently taking action on this issue? Know who the people behind the main initiatives are. What are they addressing and what are they not addressing?
3. Who are the people who suffer?
4. What are the ‘pre-conditions’ that enable this suffering to take place? Research structural and systemic factors.
5. Who are some of the main authors who have written about your key issue?

If you are taking in our Live Virtual Classroom, your instructor will review for grading. If you taking in our Internal Online Independent Study Mode you are not required to complete the assignment. If you are taking in Audit-No Credit, or Lite Mode, you can conduct this exercise for yourself or move ahead to the next lesson.
