The New Chartres Academy convenes in one of the sacred sites in the world — considered by the ancient Druids to be the holiest location in all of Europe as far back as 3,500 years ago. Replete with divine feminine energy, this is where the Chartres Cathedral now stands. Each year, students study one of the Liberal Arts, first formulated by Pythagorus and Plato in Ancient Greece, and recognized today as the foundation of modern education. This year the focus of the study is the Sixth Liberal Art of Geometry. Through an experiential study of geometry, students will learn about the formative principles from which the universe is constructed and endures. Faculty includes Michael Rice, Jain 108, Karen Rivers, Jim Garrison, Andrew Harvey, Banafsheh Sayyad, Apela Colorado, Peggy Rubin, Calen Rayne, and Ruth Cunningham.
